Ecumenical Food Kitchen
The Ecumenical Food Kitchen ministry provides a nourishing noon meal once a week for 40 to 50 homeless people, low income seniors, struggling young people and families. Ten local churches take turns providing food and volunteers to serve the lunch at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Coeur d’Alene. Learn more about St. Pius’ participation in the program by contacting our representative below.

Funeral Dinners:
The Funeral Dinner Ministry is a gift to grieving families. Volunteers help in various ways by creating a caring atmosphere, providing food, setting up, serving, cleaning tables, or doing dishes. Those who have benefitted from this ministry, have spoken of how meaningful it is to have this meal together with loved ones and friends without having to do the planning, cooking and serving. This is truly a ministry of compassion.
