Built on the Northwest corner of the St. Pius X property, the Columbarium provides an option of inurnment for our congregation. Since the establishment of the Columbarium in 2010, it has blossomed into a beautiful and peaceful place for those who wish to remember and pay their respects to loved ones who have passed on. It lies nestled amongst mature Ponderosa pines, adjacent to the Prayer Garden. It is fully landscaped, features benches for reflection, and has 24-hour lighting and security cameras. Perpetual maintenance is provided that includes snow removal to permit year-round access. The Columbarium also incorporates a Veteran’s Memorial to honor those who served God and their country.
Arranged in a hexagonal pattern around a Children’s Memorial, each of the six weather-proof, granite-finished vaults has 48 niches that are approximately one-foot square to accommodate two standard-sized urns (each niche measures 9"x9"x9"). Commemorative wall spaces are also available on the end caps of each vault to place a 3-inch by 12-inch plaque to honor those members not actually residing in the Columbarium.
A one-time payment or payment plan is all that is needed. There are no additional fees or charges for the duration of ownership. Pre-plan now to relieve your loved ones from having to make hard decisions during a time of stress. Contact one of the members of the Columbarium Committee.

The Columbarium is financially self-sustaining, supported by niche sales and donations. All donations are deposited into the Columbarium Perpetual Care and Beautification fund for future needs. Your tax deductible donation can be made by check to "St. Pius X Columbarium Trust", and either mailed to the church (625 E. Haycraft Ave., Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815) or brought into the parish office.
